Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.
And he said to them,
"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
The bible is a book absolutely packed, totally full with God's promises to His people. So it should come as no surprise that you find promises all over God's word. In Ps 23: 5 we have not just one promise but 3! Can you imagine that? 3 promises in one verse! But that is the extent of God's love to us and the clear demonstration of his commitment towards us. Ps 23: 5 says, " You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over." So what does it all mean? Let me show you briefly:
1. The Lord will protect us from our enemies and in fact he is going to shame them by surrounding us with an abundant life.
2. Because we are His sons and daughters God will pour over us the oil of gladness as a sign that we belong to Him and of the power and authority He bestows on us.
3. God will provide to all our needs and even more so that we should have more than enough.
